This week, the children enjoyed exploring the colours, textures, and wonders of autumn through sensory, creative, and nature-based activities. They explored autumn leaves, painted with natural leaves, investigated sensory bottles and pinecones, and enjoyed stories and songs about forest animals, encouraging curiosity, communication, sensory awareness, and fine motor development.
The week finished with a fun mushroom painting activity, where the children explored autumn colours, patterns, and mark-making while developing their creativity, hand-eye coordination, independence, and confidence.
